ABOUT YOUR DVD INSTRUCTORS

Certified dance, yoga and fitness professionals, Kajal and Priya will transport you to a world where you can dance your way to a more radiant and fit self. Both Kajal and Priya started dancing to Bollywood music at a young age as a way to stay connected to their heritage.

Growing up, Priya, who is from New Jersey, studied Bharatanatyam, a classical dance form from South India. Kajal learned folk or village dances from Gujarat, the part of India her family hails from, while growing up in Mississippi. Taught by her mom and aunt, Kajal took her love of performance and dance to India where she studied Kathak, a North Indian classical dance, after college. What started as an Indian dance program with a health spin grew into Doonya - an intense workout program that took New York City and Washington DC by storm, and is quickly making its way across America and beyond.

Kajal uses her expertise as an ACE Group Fitness Certified trainer to create Doonya's curriculum and artistic style. Priya, who is a certified yoga instructor, brings the importance of alignment, balance and flow to the curriculum. Priya and Kajal envision a world where working out isn't work-it's a blast.
